From time to time you come a cross a good memory of some one you use to watch and make you forget all the problems. I had for gotten about  Bob Ross and what he did.  How he made it look so easy and made you laugh along the way, while you watched his PBS TV show.  while painting making comments while he'd paint, that made objects into living things: "I going put some pretty little cloud's in or "I'm going make some happy little clouds up in the sky. Just floating around just happy as can be", "Nice and loose. Just let everything go"," this is your world. What is in your world? What do you see in your world? Is there lots of trees or pretty little bunnys running around in your world?" I used to think "this guy was not all there and/or Man, what ever he's taking or drinking!! I want some!!!"  wish I could be that lay-back as he was and see the world as he did-In his little world? He was a great painter and teacher of art and even though, he was a character He teched a lot of people the great world of art. He won't be forgotten and miss by artist and art lovers

Artist/TV Host Bob Ross 1943--1995 I found this film "Tribute Song to Bob Ross and video shot in New York 2000 " The film that shows the man and his art and what he did for art. this guy looks a lot like Bob and the wig also

I have been thinking about this post and how Bob and others got me into art. Going way back when I was about eight years old or so, when my mother bought me a book on how to draw. I can't remember the person name but I Know I was enjoy art and drawing. I hope you try this painting. I think I might paint this one. It's a nice painting and not hard to do.

On the Pre-Juried showing  my painting "Fish Fry" came out with good remarks: "Whimsical and clear idea and execution, colors and image are appealing." "I like the colors and rhythm. Great Subtle textures and striking unity of composition." Those where the comments from the judges in the Pre-juried showing.  The Pastel Painting "Fish Fry" is now going to the juried showing in April. Note: Due to spam problems and the filters seem not to work that well. The comments is now for TBlog members only.  I hope that this will change soon and open comments to all.
