who I like and who I meant in the pass

who I like and who I meant in the pass

I was thinking of a person in Music that effluents me in music; of course, one of my favorites artist is John Lennon of the Beatles. This is for many reasons why I enjoy his music and writing. He was one for the play on words. Form the "fool on the hill". one of the that I like very much is  "Tomorrow you never know" with the magled backwords and forward gaabled music. and the words that seem not to be in any  sort of order or just babling(I like this one very very much, it is a work of art and if you listen to it does have meaning)  Some other are "you got to hide your love away",The bunt in your face"Working class Hero" and many more over the years. The White Album, the Play on words was great. Did you ever play some of them back-wards? they have a message in them like, "Paul is dead Dig it, dig it" and "Satan is here dig it dig it!!" And of coarse in Tomorrow you never know, he played the words in the whole song stuff like" turn off your mind relax and float down stream it’s not dying, its not dying" and " give in into the void" Drugs?? He said know said it was from a dream after reading a book. But maybe a little of both.  I am sure it was John just messing with our minds and his way of a kick in the A## for us.  He as straight shooter no BS at all, tell it how it is. If you didn’t like it, to bad. or if he think you are a tosser or a A.H, he tall you!!  What I read about him that how he was, with no mixing of words.  Some others are Led Zeppelin, The stones, Don McLean, Gordon Light foot, Leona Boyd, John Williams(the last two are classical guitar) and there are some others that enjoy in blues, Rag time and Jazz.

The only people that I seen in person are Johnny Cash and his wife at the time June Carter and the Jackson Five. The Jackson Five is a good story. My Family and I was down in Philadelphia, PA at a Marriott Hotel, where the Jackson Five was staying; for some show or some thing they was promoting. At that time they where the big thing for the kids, And we wanted to see them and sign a picture or some thing(just to see them in person really). At the time, I had my 110 camera with the flash cued.  Any of you remember those little things?  They never turned when you wanted them to or when you try to fix them they go off in your face, and blind you?? I still have it and just found it in a box. Of-coarse it didn't turn or go off.  Michael  tryed to help me  fix it, and when we was trying to fix it his manger or some one said they had to go. I saw them later on and got the picture with his older bothers with me in the middle. They look like evergreens to me(at about 4'8 and they was about 6'2) The joke for years was, it was like a Oreo cookie me in the middle and the two was on the outside. It was 1972, I was 12 and Michael was 13, Of coarse he didn’t look like does now. Just a kid (in the spot light). The photo is long gone, with  all the moving that it did. The picture was lost long ago.  When you are 11-12 years old and you have a chance to seem some one you seen on TV and heard them sing, you Grab the Chance to meet them!! So that is my brush with fame.

Turn off your mind, relax
and float down stream
It is not dying
It is not dying

Lay down all thought
Surrender to the void
It is shining
It is shining

That you may see
The meaning of within
It is being
It is being

That love is all
And love is everyone
It is knowing
It is knowing

That ignorance and hate
May mourn the dead
It is believing
It is believing

But listen to the
color of your dreams
It is not living
It is not living

Or play the game
existence to the end
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning
Of the beginning

I just got rid of my own 110 camera not long ago -- I thought about keeping it, but it was broken...
