The Davinci Code my thoughts on novel so far.

I've started The Davinci Code and So far it is an excellent novel. The story line and writing is very well written. I have heard and read that some People thought of it as very up setting and/or boring,So-far I haven't found that the case.
religion groups found it as insulting to there religion; only if take it as fire and stone and religion or the bible as such. We do know that there is thaws in the bible and the stories in it. I haven't seen that in the novel. I have been enjoying the story and the novel. I've been brought up Catholic and didn't find it insulting to my faith at all. No Lighten bolt hasn't struck me or I haven't fallen to the vowels of the earth(yet) So far on what I have read, I've have given it an 8 out of 10 on books to read.

I know plenty of people have "enjoyed" trashing the book, and while I do think Dan Brown relies too much on formula from one book to the next, I really got sucked into Da Vinci Code and found it fun to read. If you like this, pick up his "Angels & Demons," which again has some major religious themes but is truly suspenseful.
