Printer shopping (To many choices)
Yesterday I went printer shopping and look at all the printers. I have to say, there are so many of them out there, But I stuck to the same company of my other printer. My other Printer a Lexmark x73 stop printing, I think the jets just got cloged but the scanner part still works. The trouble is that the Printer is no longer supported by Windows Vista TM OS. I still can use it as a scanner in the studio(that is XP) but not the printer part and its a flot bed scanner. So here I was in the store reading all the printer boxes and tage, PPI,DPI it can do this I can do that, ETC(but can it make coffee and clean??)

I ended up getting the new Lexmark X5070. It has Print, scan, copy and fax( but still does not make coffee and it don't do windows!) Its a nice printer for the price and it will get the job done. So Do day I'll be setting it up and give a test drive. The fax part is going to be a pluse for me. I have always had trouble sending fax's and trying to get to a place where I can send them.
Note The Art web site is down for right now and I am working on a redesign and will be back soon. For now, you can see all my art on the slide above

Looks good. I try to buy a basic printer without all the extras. Once I got a Brother printer that does everything (except coffee). I read the user reviews, and they warned me to stay away. I bought it anyways, and sure enough it broke. So, now I use Epson printers. Both use the same cartridges, which I buy generic replacements online for a low price.
Hope you are doing well, and I look forward to having your art site back online.
