Update and 3D models.
Wow,it is hard to believe that it has been more then a month sinec I last posted a blog. Time frys and school is keeping me very busy. That is what I have been doing since the last time I wrote a post for a blog. Winter is here again and we just had our first snow for the sesean. Here are some models that I created in the first 3D class. Next I am back in 2D that will go on until Dec 19Th, but I have been enjoying it and I will try to keep you posted.

Well. The thing down stairs is still here and she will not move out. She it is a 22-year-old Spanish young person "thing," That it thinks it can do whatever she wants. No matter what every anyone else says. I spoke to her about ten times and the landlord spoke to her eight times. The police came and talked to her about six times and still she just keeps doing it. Loud music fights, talking loud outside at 1AM-4AM. Not to forget the drama she had outside then. She should be moving out, but she staying and looks like it is court time if she does not move out by Nov 10th. she is the rudest noun caring about others that I have every seen! Kids, they do not have a brain in their head! I know she does not. She has two- two-year-olds crying all the time running and jumping noun stop! Ghetto kids by the looks of them. She is a piece of work and I be happy when she is gone. The thing is the best name for her and she it a thing! Not all Spanish are bad but this one should go back to her Newark, NJ ghetto where she belongs! For a month and a half I have been putting up with it a noun stop, every night and day, So if I sound bitter sorrily because I have had it! Well that is the update and I will keep you posted on this and other things that is happening around me.

How try that is! School is fine and has been keeping me going nounstop. Other then that, not much new to report at this time.
Where did the time go? RIP Pepper my cat died.
It seems so long ago since I posted last. I do not know where the time goes but, it seemed it went by so fast. School is fine and it is keeping me busy these days. Right now I am in Modern Art history and that is a lot of writing. Nevertheless, I like it and I have a supper instructor. I have always enjoyed the history of art and know what the great artist when though and how they lived. Even my art has been falling behind, with no time to paint or draw. These days we are talking about 3D modeling and more high-tech applications of art in school.
There are two things that I am sick of hearing. The first one is about Michael Jackson. The guy is dead and we are still hearing about his life and his music. I am not a fan of his music or that style of music. When the more important music entertainers dead, they did not make a thing about it! I really do not think he is that great as they are making him. The other thing that I am tired of hearing is the President bashing that is going on YouTube.com. These wet behind the ears kiddies’ twenty something’s are making on videos and shooting their mouth off on camera and comments. They have no idea what they are talking about. I think they just want to feel big and think they are so big and important. Know they at that age when they think they have all the answers at that age. Well, I am glad that I am posting again and hope it will not be as long next time. Feel free to drop me a comment. Well that is it for now. I just wanted to give a quick update on what is going on.
Notice: My cat Pepper has Died on Saturday Augs 29Th at 1031PM. He died right in front of me on the floor and I so felt helpless that I could not help him. His lungs fulled up with fuild and he died, most likely it was his age. I thought it wouldn't be so hard but it was very hard to see and go though, I had him for 15 years and now he is gone. He was a great cat all around. He was Loving, easy going and just a all around great pet and a great friend. He will be miss more then he will know.

I have been enjoying my time off from school, but been bored as heck! The last day of classes was on June20Th and I will be off until July13Th when my first class will start on that day. Everything in School is going smoothly and I am happy with my standing in school with my GPA of 3.8. I know this will be a long road and the cost of the school is high like any four-year school, but I know I will stick to it and complete my education for this degree and work in that field. It is hard going to school without any support from family or friends. The loan for school is high and it is a risk but I feel it is worth it. I do want that degree and work in animation field. This is my second time in college for a different degree. The first time was for programing and now its for art and animtation. Which I really enjoy making art and I am sure I will for animation also.
I have been reading this great book by Joseph Sheppard entitled, “How to paint Like the old masters.” The artists that they study in this book are Durer, Titian, Veronese, Caravaggio, Hals, Rembrandt and Vermeer. The artist back Then didn’t just go down to acmoore or Michael’s and pick up a tube of paint. They had to mix it from dry pigment with linseed oil, Turpentine. They used a glass bowel and a Muller to mix and crush the pigments to make the paint. Also Build and prepared their supports (Canvas or wood that they paint on.) They mixed and cooked their own mediums (an additive to help the paint dry faster or help the paint set on the canvas.) Some of the things that they mediums that they used are “Black oil” which is made from Nut oil, and white lead that had to be cooked. That is the part that I don’t like and won’t try cooking chemicals because some of them are poisons. They used a lot of bees max and Mastic that comes from a tree. I have been really enjoying this book and it’s feasting to read what they did to paint. I could keep on talking about this topic but I won’t. If you want to read more you will have to get the book and read what they did and how they did it. It is worth buying and reading. That is if you paint or just want to know how they accomplish what they did in their paintings.
I feel That I have to say some thing about the News that we all have been hearing about over this past week or so and that is about the death of Michael Jackson. It is a shame that people that are well known have to turn to drugs and abuse them like he did. I know he just wanted to sleep but the drugs that he used are so powerful that I am sure he could have used some of the normal sleeping aids. When I saw him and met him in Philadelphia back in 1971-1972 we were just a kid I think he was about 12-13 years old and I was about 11 or 12. My family was staying at the Marriott in Philadelphia and the Jackson Five was staying there and doing an interview for some TV or radio show. At that time, The Jackson five was a very popular band with the kids and I was one of the kids going around the hotel trying to get their autograph. Well, they were going out and saw them in the hall way. I got their autograph and tried to take their photo. Back then the flash was a flash cube and they seem never seem to work when you want them to or when you don’t want them to they go off! Well Michael Came over and I try to take his photo by himself and it still didn’t work. He took the camera to get it to work and started to move the cube and before I could say, do not do that it went off in his face, which happened to me many times when you turn the cube.
I later on I saw them again and took a photo with the older brothers by the pool and got another autograph. IT was funny because I was in the middle of two very tall black men and I mean they look like giant trees. Back then I was only about 4'7 at that time and the older brother were like 6'2 or so. The joke was that it was like an oreo cookie with the white stuff in the middle! But they were all nice and I had the chance to talk to them. Later on that year I had a chance to meet and talk to Johnny Cash and June Carter, at a different hotel in RI. I wish I still had that pictures now and the autographs. It is a shame what Michael did to himself and I think it was because of his father Joe Jackson and how he made fun of his looks. He had a hard life and started preforming at the age of three. Well that is the update and I hope everyone is having a great summer!
I am still alive!
I have been very happy with the Job that Barrack Obama has been doing since he has been in office for 200 days. I do believe that he will the U. S to recover and improving the country in whole. I was trying to remember when was the last precedent we had that really made a difference in this country. The two Bushes forget about them they where no big thing to talk about. Bill Clinton did do some good and he helped bring the national dent down but was not big on foreign affairs. He was caught with his pants down and it was said that he smoked pot in college but that was the 60's and that was no big thing back then. I can her him now saying to his wife, “Honey can you get me the pork whines and the bong and maybe a cold beer!” He was ok and he did help the country out.
Ronald Reagan was good man and I really liked him and he did a lot for this country and was big in foreign affairs. Then we had the peanut man Jimmy Carter that really didn't do that much. So was the one before him Garland Ford but he was just a stand in for Nixon that was very shifty and you can tell by looking at him. Ford was ok when he wasn't falling down stairs but he was in for a very short time. Before Nixon was another sort team guy also that took over for JFK when he was killed. I think JFK was a good president and he would have made many big changes in this country if he was Shot and killed. That is my rundown of presidents for the pass almost 50 years.
Other then that, I don't have much to say about the other things happening in the world. We will just have to wait and see what happens in the weeks and months ahead. School will be out on June 6 and I will have two weeks off then. I will try to update you before that but I can't promise. Since school, I don't have time like I did before and time seems to be sort and not much time to have fun anymore. At times, I do have a change to read some pages and check out photos at Flickr.com. I also go to youtube.com a lot and see some videos that others have posted but not like I did before. Well that is it for now and I will try to update you as much as I can.

At this time I am on Semester Break; that is very much needed at this time to get ready for next semester. I just finished Eng1010 and I am happy to say that I finished with an "A ." Tomorrow, I am having a memory upgrade on my system to four gigabyte. The programs that we use in school require four gigabytes of memory; With all the graphs we create like video, audio, images and of coarse animation, all of that takes a lot of memory and a system that of 2.5 Gigabyte processor or better. This system has a two-gigabyte processor and only two gigabytes of memory (Soon to be four gigabytes), So this will run a little slow but it should work while I am still in school. After I am out I will have to upgrade to a 64 bit with a three or 3.5 gigabyte processor system with eight or more gigabytes of memory, with a ATI fireGL 10 bit graph pipline with 2 or 4 gigabyte of graphic memory. That is a high speed graphic card for animation. I am still working on the production of my animation and I hope to have time to complete it with school and all the other things that I have to get done.
I had a great surprise from my long time Pen pal from over seas. She sent me two new Tee-shirts with Chicness writing on the front of it. They are very nice shirts and it was wonderful of her to send it to me -Thank you very much LD for thinking of me and sending the gifts to me. I knew her for a long time and we have Kept in contact for more than thirty years.
Well, that is it for now and I will try to update you before I start the next semester. I will be taking “Life drawing two for animation,” and “Animation object developing.” I am sure that I will like these two class and semester after that I will be taking three classes again. I will be making more videos and posting them when I can, So keep checking on the Youtube channel.
